Introduction
I am a calm, responsible, caring, and patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. I maintain a healthy lifestyle; I do not smoke, I do not drink alcohol, and I am also very pet friendly, so I would love to care for your furry family members if you have any. My hobbies include cooking, gardening, and reading books. Cooking is my way of showing care,
and I would love to share some traditional Filipino dishes like Adobo, Lumpia (Spring Rolls), and Pansit with you. Growing up in the province planting vegetables taught me patience and keeps me grounded. I truly enjoy helping things grow, whether it is plants or the daily routines of children. I also love being outdoors, taking long walks in nature, and playing active games with kids. Reading is another passion of mine, especially children's stories, and I am always happy to do story time before bed.
Children are very close to my heart. We are a big family, so I grew up surrounded by many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom I always played with and took care of. Even with my friends' children, I always enjoy their company and looking after them. I am the second among five siblings, and when our parents and eldest brother worked in the city, I naturally took on the role of managing our home. I looked after my three younger siblings to ensure their daily needs were met, which included helping them with homework and keeping
them entertained on weekends. I also provided compassionate end of life care for my grandmother before she passed away. We are a close-knit family that values respect, helping each other, and bonding over meals. That is the kind of warm, supportive, and
lively environment I hope to bring into your home. I am fully prepared to help you maintain this environment by assisting with light household tasks, cooking, doing the laundry, and keeping the home neat and organized.
In 2023, I graduated from Baao Community College with an Associate in Computer Technology degree. Currently, I work as a Parish Secretary at St. John of the Cross Parish Church. This professional background in administrative and clerical work has made me
highly organized, punctual, and reliable when managing schedules and daily routines. Alongside my work, I am an active community volunteer, assisting senior citizens and local voters. I also have valuable experience caring for kids in my community across different age groups by helping them with schoolwork, preparing snacks, and ensuring they are always safe and happy. I am comfortable with both busy and quiet days, and I know how to keep kids engaged through creative and fun activities.
For me, this program is more than just a chance to live abroad. I am truly motivated to experience this Au Pair journey because I am very eager to learn about culture, traditions, and your wonderful way of life. Since I am already fluent in English, I am confident we can communicate easily from day one, and I am also enthusiastic about learning the language so I can better engage with your family, connect with the children, and adapt to daily life faster.
I know that cycling and swimming are big parts of daily life. I am proud to say that I already know how to ride a bike, and I am currently taking swimming lessons to ensure I can safely accompany the children and fully participate in your family's outdoor activities. I believe that living together and sharing small moments like school runs, cooking dinner, and weekend outings is the best way to build a real, lasting connection.
To assure you of my readiness, I have all my required documents completely prepared and on hand, including my Passport, NBI Clearance, Birth Certificate, and College Diploma.
Thank you so much for reading my letter, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Warm regards,
Aira
