My name is Erika, and I am from the Philippines. I am a recent graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. I am a kind, patient, responsible, and hardworking person who enjoys learning new things, meeting people, and discovering different cultures. I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair because I would love to experience life in another country, learn about your culture, and become a helpful and caring member of your family.
During my studies, I learned the importance of responsibility, cleanliness, organization, communication, and providing good service to others. I also completed NC II in Housekeeping, NC II in Food and Beverage Services, and NC III in Event Management. These experiences have helped me develop a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
Although I am a beginner in professional childcare, I am eager to learn and willing to follow your family’s routines and instructions. I understand that caring for children requires patience, understanding, attentiveness, and a genuine concern for their safety and well-being. I would do my best to help create a safe, positive, and loving environment where your children feel comfortable and supported.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, learning new things, and spending time with my family. I enjoy Filipino food and would be happy to share some of our culture and traditions with you while also learning about yours. I am open-minded, respectful, and willing to adapt to a new environment and different ways of life.
My goal is to gain valuable international experience, improve my communication skills, become more independent, and build meaningful connections with my host family. I hope to find a family that values mutual respect, kindness, honesty, and open communication. In return, I will do my best to be dependable, considerate, and helpful throughout my stay.
I believe that being an Au Pair is not only about helping with childcare and daily routines, but also about cultural exchange, learning from one another, and creating wonderful memories together.
