Dear Host Family,

I am 21 years old from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I am writing with great joy and respect to introduce myself as your future Au Pair. Thank you for taking time to read my letter and to consider welcoming me into your loving home.

I grew up in a warm, respectful family in Bulawayo and attended Magwegwe High School where I completed my Ordinary Level. From a young age, I learned the values of honesty, hard work, kindness and responsibility - values that I carry in all I do with children.

I have a genuine passion for childcare. Since 2023, I have been caring for children aged 1 to 8 years in my community and for family friends. I help with daily routines: bathing, dressing, feeding, nap times and bedtimes. I prepare healthy, balanced meals, I help with homework and English reading, and I love organizing creative play, outdoor games, singing and crafts. As you can see in my photo portfolio, I love being active - whether walking safely with a little one, playing ball outdoors, sharing mealtimes, helping with homework or enjoying the playground. I believe in keeping children safe, happy, clean and confident.

To ensure the highest level of safety, I am qualified as a Nursing Aide, including First Aid and CPR for children and infants. I am trained in basic health care, hygiene, emergency response and child safety. I am also a confident driver with a valid driver's license and I am very comfortable with school runs, activities and errands. I am a non-smoker, very energetic, patient and honest.

In my free time I love cooking, reading, singing and outdoor games. I would love to share Zimbabwean culture with your family, and to learn your culture, language and traditions. I speak English fluently and Ndebele as my native language, and I am excited to learn your language too.

I am looking for a loving host family for 12 to 24 months, starting immediately. My dream is not just to be a helper, but to become like a big sister to your children - someone they trust, who listens, who teaches, who plays and who keeps them safe when you are not home. I will respect your home, your rules and your parenting style, and I will communicate openly and respectfully at all times.

I understand that leaving your children in someone else's care requires huge trust. I promise to earn that trust every day with responsibility, love and dedication. I would be honored to support your family, to create beautiful memories with your children, and to become part of your family.
