Introduction
Although I have not worked as a professional au pair before, I have experience caring for and spending time with children within my family, especially my nieces. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them engaged, helping with their daily activities and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. Through these experiences, I have developed patience, understanding and a genuine appreciation for children’s different personalities and needs.
Additionally, my educational background in Nursing and Midwifery has equipped me with valuable skills in caregiving, hygiene, safety, responsibility and compassion. I believe these skills are important when caring for children.
I would love to become an au pair abroad because I see it as an opportunity to combine my love for children with my desire to experience a different culture particularly interests me because I would love to learn the language, understand its culture and experience everyday family life in the country.
I also see this experience as an opportunity for personal growth, independence and cultural exchange. I would be happy to share my Tanzanian culture with my host family while learning from them. Most importantly, I hope to build a meaningful relationship with my host family and become someone they can trust and rely on.
