Hello!

My name is Fanny, I’m 33 years old and I’m French. I grew up in a big family with three sisters and two brothers, so being around children, sharing everyday life and taking care of others has always been a natural part of my life.

I’m a warm, caring and easy-going person, but I’m also responsible and independent. I really enjoy spending time with children and I love seeing their personalities develop, answering their questions and helping them discover new things. I believe children need both kindness and attention, but also clear boundaries, routines and a sense of security.

I have looked after children regularly over the years, including babysitting and helping families with everyday routines. I’m comfortable preparing meals, keeping things tidy, organising activities, going for walks or outings and adapting to different ages and personalities. I have never been a live-in au pair or a full-time nanny, but caring for children has been a recurring part of my life for many years.

I’m also a very creative person. I have worked in ceramics and creative activities for many years, including workshops for children, and I love finding fun and imaginative things to do together. Drawing, painting, crafts, pottery, cooking, outdoor activities, games or simply exploring a new place together are all things I would enjoy sharing with children.

I have travelled a lot and lived in different places, which has made me very adaptable and open-minded. I currently live in France, close to the Swiss border, and I have my own car, so I am flexible and mobile. I would be very happy to discover a new family and a new environment, whether in Switzerland or elsewhere.

What I’m looking for is more than simply a job. I would love to become a trusted person in a family’s everyday life, while respecting the parents’ way of doing things and contributing positively to the children’s lives. I would also love to share my French culture, learn from another family and discover their way of life.
