Hello Dear Host Family!

My name is Birhan, and I am from Ethiopia. I am a friendly, easygoing, positive, and energetic young woman who enjoys meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and creating beautiful memories with the people around me.

I would describe myself as someone who loves having fun, staying active, and bringing positive energy wherever I go. I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, games, music, dancing, and exploring new things. I especially enjoy spending time with children because of their creativity, curiosity, honesty, and wonderful imagination.

I love playing with children, keeping them entertained, organizing fun activities, telling stories, and finding creative ways to make their days enjoyable. Whether it is playing sports, going for walks, drawing, playing games, or simply making them laugh, I enjoy being part of their little adventures. I also understand that caring for children requires patience, responsibility, attention, and a commitment to their safety and well-being.

I am a university graduate with a background in Software Engineering. I speak English and Amharic, and I enjoy learning, discovering new things, and challenging myself. Outside my studies and professional interests, I love staying active, spending time with family, and developing myself personally.

One of the reasons I am interested in becoming an Au Pair is the opportunity to experience American culture, become part of a new family, share my Ethiopian culture and traditions, and build meaningful relationships. I would love to introduce your children to some of my culture, language, food, and traditions while also learning about yours.
