Hello! My name is Aisyah, but you can call me Aisyah or Icha. I am from Indonesia, a beautiful country known for its rich culture, friendly people, and delicious food. I would describe myself as a caring, patient, responsible, open-minded, and easy-going person who enjoys learning new things and meeting people from different backgrounds.

My experience with children

Growing up with four younger siblings has been one of my most valuable experiences. I have helped care for them by preparing meals, assisting with homework, playing together, and keeping them engaged in fun and educational activities. These experiences have taught me to be patient, understanding, and attentive to children's needs. I understand that every child has a different personality, and I believe it is important to make them feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow.

Besides my family experience, I have also worked as an assistant lecturer, supporting students during lessons and assignments. This experience strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to explain things clearly and help others learn. I would love to bring that same patience and enthusiasm to your children, whether we are reading stories, doing arts and crafts, playing outdoors, or learning something new together.

A little more about me

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, exploring new places, learning languages, doing arts and crafts, traveling, and spending time in nature. I am also a big food lover who enjoys discovering local dishes and finding interesting places to eat. I believe that exploring different cultures helps us become more open-minded and understanding of others.

Recently, I spent a year studying Mandarin in Taiwan through the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship program at I-Shou University. Living and studying abroad gave me the opportunity to experience a different culture, adapt to a new environment, and become more independent. It also made me even more excited about cultural exchange. I would love to share Indonesian traditions, teach your children some simple Indonesian words, and prepare traditional Indonesian dishes together as a fun family activity!

Why I want to become an au pair

For me, becoming an au pair is more than an opportunity to live abroad. It is a chance to become part of a family, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships. I hope to support your children as they grow, help them explore their interests, and become someone they can feel comfortable around, like an older sister.

I am looking for a kind and welcoming host family that values trust, respect, open communication, and cultural exchange. I would love to share everyday family moments, from cooking and playing games to exploring new places together. I am also happy to learn your family's routines, traditions, and expectations so we can create a positive experience for everyone.

Ideally, I would love to stay for around one year, or longer if the program regulations allow and we are a good match. I am excited about the possibility of stepping outside my comfort zone, growing as a person, and creating beautiful memories with my future host family.
