Introduction
I have practical, hands-on housekeeping and household support experience from working as a Household Assistant in a private villa in Dubai, as well as professional housekeeping, cleaning and hygiene experience in hotels in Dubai and Tanzania.
In the private villa, I was responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and comfortable home environment. My duties included general room and bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, bed changing, furniture and surface care, window and carpet cleaning, refrigerator cleaning, cabinet cleaning, wall washing, packing and unpacking, grocery shopping and organizing household supplies. I also cared for plants and the garden,washed and maintained the employer’s car, collected mail, ran errands and assisted with general household needs. I prepared coffee and tea each morning and made sure the home and surrounding areas were neat and well maintained.
At Holiday Inn Express Dubai Safa Park, I further developed professional cleaning and hygiene standards through my work as a Kitchen Steward. I cleaned and maintained kitchens, floors, equipment, refrigerators, ovens, grills, fryers, hot and cold cabinets, dishwashing areas, waste areas and other workspaces. I followed hygiene procedures, used cleaning chemicals and PPE correctly, maintained organized work areas and completed cleaning and monitoring records where required.
My experience in Tanzania also strengthened my housekeeping and hospitality skills. I understand the importance of cleanliness, attention to detail, proper organization and respecting another person’s home and belongings.
My main achievement in these roles has been consistently helping maintain clean, hygienic, organized and comfortable environments. I take pride in noticing small details, completing tasks without needing constant supervision, following instructions carefully and taking initiative when I see something that needs attention. I am comfortable handling a wide range of household tasks and adapting to the preferences and routines of the family or employer.
