My name is Vanessa, and I am from the Philippines. I am a caring, patient, responsible, and hardworking person who genuinely enjoys being around children and supporting their growth and development. I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair, join a welcoming host family, learn about a new culture, and contribute positively to your family's daily life.

MY CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE

I have seven years of private childcare experience with the Li Family, where I cared for two children, including a newborn baby and a young child. My responsibilities included assisting with daily routines, preparing meals, maintaining hygiene, ensuring safety, helping with school preparation, and providing attentive care. This experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, trust, and understanding each child's individual needs.

I understand that children need more than supervision. They also need encouragement, affection, guidance, and a safe environment where they can feel comfortable and confident. I enjoy spending time with children, reading with them, communicating with them, and supporting their learning through age-appropriate activities.

MY EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) in the Philippines and hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree. I also have a TESOL certification and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education Management. In addition, I currently work as an online English teacher at 51Talk, teaching children, teenagers, and adults.

My teaching experience has strengthened my communication skills, patience, creativity, and ability to explain things in simple, understandable ways. I enjoy helping young learners develop their English vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and confidence. I would be happy to support your children's English learning through everyday conversations, reading, games, and other suitable activities.

MY PERSONALITY AND VALUES

I consider myself respectful, honest, dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn. I value integrity, dignity, kindness, and responsibility. I believe that trust and open communication are essential when caring for children and living with a host family.

I am willing to follow your household routines, respect your family's culture and values, and communicate openly about expectations. I understand that becoming an Au Pair involves cooperation, flexibility, cultural exchange, and mutual respect. I am also comfortable learning new routines and adjusting to a new environment.

MY INTEREST IN CULTURAL EXCHANGE

I would love to experience life in another country, learn about your culture and traditions, and share Filipino culture with your family. I can share my language, food, traditions, and experiences while learning from you as well. I hope to build a respectful relationship with my host family and become a positive, supportive presence in your children's lives.

I am currently based in the Philippines and would need a host family willing to consider an overseas applicant and follow the appropriate visa and Au Pair program requirements.
